Since its inception in 1976, the Ramón Areces Foundation has been dedicated to sponsoring science by promoting research, contributing to the generation of human capital and spreading knowledge. It also operates through partnerships with domestic and foreign scientific and cultural institutions of excellence.
From the moment it was founded, the Foundation has supported Spanish scientists both inside and outside our country. In this line of action, it finances the Communities of Spanish Scientists in the UK (CERU), the Federal Republic of Germany (CERFA), the Association of Spanish Scientists in the United States (ECUSA), Sweden, Denmark, Australia y Japan, having been the sponsor for many of their activities. Once again, the Ramon Areces Foundation has wanted to ratify this commitment by co-financing the First Meeting of the Community of Spanish Scientists in the United States.
